Castellaneta Marina

A small seaside town 37 km from Taranto, where you can spend a seaside holiday without fail. With its wide sandy strip, it extends along the western coast of the Gulf of Taranto. Behind it the vast area of ​​the Mediterranean scrub dotted with Aleppo pines.

The beaches, free and equipped, are ideal for families. The town finds its origins in 1200 when it became a refuge for farmers forced to flee from pirate raids.
